About this Artist
Ken is a singer/songwriter who was born on February 26, 1967 in Southern New Jersey.
He was raised around music, and his father was an acomplished guitar player . Ken taught himself to play guitar at the age of eight and In the fifth grade he joined the choir at school, where he sang alto .
When he turned twelve he became a drummer in his first band, made up of close friends.
Over the years he has played in several different bands on several instruments, including drums, bass, rhythm and lead guitar.
At age 21, Ken started a band called Tribulation, in which his brother and father also played. Ken was lead guitarist for a few years and then moved on to become the lead singer.
Ken has played local gigs at Six Shooters, BC’s, The Hard Rock Café and The Country Palace. In the Philadelphia circuit he has played at Doc Watson’s, Middle East, Boot & Saddle, the Overpass and the Philadelphia Music Conference.
He has also preformed at many different causes and events: Such as The American Cancer Society Telethon (televised on channel 40), Spring Jam for the local Rescue squad and the American Red Cross and an annual cycle show which benefited” The Make a Wish Foundation.
In the mid 90’s Ken put his music on the back burner to raise his family.
In 2005 He went to Sound Strike Studios, the recording arm of Tommy Naples Music, to record some original songs where he first caught the ear of Thomas Smead, the owner of Tommy Naples Music Record Label.
